Mar. 6: Book launch and panel discussion on Kurdish women's resistance in Rojava and beyond

The next presentation in the series is a book launch for the newly published "Women Fighters in the Kurdish National Movement: Transforming Gender Politics and the PKK" by Mustafa Kemal Topal. In addition to the author speaking to us about the book, there will be a panel discussion on the book and more broadly on Kurdish women's resistance in Rojava and beyond (panelists: Helin Unal, Dr. canan Coskan, and Dr. Yasin Duman).   The session will take place next  Wednesday ,  Mar. 6  for  90 minutes , at the following times: New York, USA: 11.00 a.m. (EDT); Santiago, Chile: 13.00 (CLST); London, U.K.: 16.00 (GMT); Cape Town, South Africa: 18.00 (SAST);  Istanbul, Turkey: 19.00 (TRT); New Delhi, India: 21.30 (IST) (for more time zone conversions you can use  this tool ). Feb. 20: Mukherjee & Tandon on Dalit Narratives of Struggle and Healing

Join us on Feb. 20 at 19.00 India Standard Time (13.30 GMT) for a work-in-progress discussion with Aritra Mukherjee (University of Delhi) and Charvi Tandon (Indian Institute of Technology, Hyderabad) on "My Identity, My Resistance: A Found Poetry Exploration into Dalit Narratives of Struggle and Healing" (see abstract in flyer below).
